Venom vs. Bane is... an interesting match up. I'm not sure what the connection between the two is.
Eddie Brock and Bane are both bulky guys who are empowered by something called Venom, and are more or less evil/antihero versions of their respective series' heroes.
Ah, that's a little more clear.
Where they differ is that Eddie Brock's Venom is - to quote J. Jonah Jameson - "a man-eating alien amoeba with bad body image", while Bane's Venom is a steroid on steroids.
Man, a certain cyborg has been rather busy lately.
Does anybody know the story behind the thread title?
much like any fanbase-including this one- people will be trolls. death battle is no exception
Now, there's an interesting (or maybe not so interesting) story behind that. See, a certain user here would keep posting very lengthy paragraphs as to why fictional character B would clearly kick fictional character A's ass, as well as dragging out the discussion far longer than needed. Naturally, a moderator took it into their hands to point out to said user that the majority of people participating in this thread didn't care for their opinions and were in fact far more interested in watching said videos.
As to whom the user was, well I'm not at liberty to say, but I'm willing to guess you've probably got a good idea of who it may-or-may-not be.
Oh yeah. I honestly can't remember who it was. :V
Now this...this, I can f***ing get behind.
Voltron has a significant size, weight, and speed advantage over the Megazord, though.
how tall are each?
Based on what i've found on the Power Rangers wiki and the Anime News Network:
The Dino Megazord is 41 meters tall and weighs 570 tons. Its flight speed isn't specified, but the Pteranodon Zord can fly at Mach 2.5.
Lion Force Voltron is 60 meters tall, weighs 700 tons, and can fly at FTL speeds in space and up to Mach 10 in atmosphere.
not to mention voltron's got more options for attacking with.
The Death Battle series is interesting. I mean it's all ScrewAttack has anymore really.
The videos themselves are pretty entertaining but as the title of the thread would suggest, some people take the videos way too seriously. It's a video, describing who they think would win in a fight between two fictional characters. Like, with my friend who watches the Death Battles, sometimes I can't go long when talking about a fictional character without him mentioning that said character got beat in a Death Battle. I mean, how overpowered the designers decide to make their character is irrelevant to the traits I look for to enjoy a character in fiction.
Anyways, it's a well put together series still! The fanbase can take it too seriously though. (i.e. one charcater beating another in a video means they're a "better" character)
It's literally all ScrewAttack has anymore.
its like a reverse of white tiger zord vs gundam epsilon XD
Matt Frank might be involved with the next one, just a heads up. He posted a photo of himself at ScrewAttack yesterday on Facebook.
You mean the Megazord vs. Voltron episode, or the one after that?
Separate names with a comma.
