im with beerus on his one.
Also Zamasu did nothing wrong XD
"...is that f***ing Frieza?!"
Oh my god, the robot God of Destruction from Super really is one of those robots from that machine planet back in GT!
Well thats news ^__^
Looks like goku black is finally getting his SSJR form and one of his moves involves that scimitar version of his god slicer and the energy javelins he shot from them to nearly kill poor goku. I wonder if he'll be able to use the normal one on the fly and better yet that scythe he got later on.
Well, it was only a matter of time before Super Saiyan Rose Goku Black and Zamasu got into the game. The only real question is, will Fused Zamasu make it in too?
Also I see that Bojack is in the upcoming pack too...for some reason. I guess the costumes of Bojack's henchmen in the free DLC was foreshadowing Bojack himself showing up. I assume Dimps wanted to add one more character in and decided to bring back another old movie villain and chose the one highest in popularity from the remaining movie villains that hadn't made it in already. But at this point, I'm pretty sure the only movie villans who aren't in the game are Garlic Jr, Dr. Wheelo, the three Androids, and Hirudegarn (who would probably make for a pretty cool giant boss fight like with the Great Apes).
im kinda wondering that myself, maybe theyll release him alongside vegito blue for well marketing and symbolic reasons. If so I hope he has his light of justice and his power stressed transformations.
I would honestly get a huge laugh if they did something like this for the Funimation dub.
First look at goku black and zamasu just to be safe i put a spoiler tag up
As a heads up just skip to the last 10 seconds
Huh...so the English voice actor (in both Xenoverse 2 and Dragon Ball Super) for Zamasu is James Marsters, a in:
Well good for James. He went from playing a green skinned pointy eared madman hell bent on wiping out humanity, to playing a green skinned pointy eared madman hell bent on wiping out humanity. Speaking of English voices, Sean Schemmel has an interesting difference between Base Goku Black and Goku Black Rose (yeah, I'm not typing out that stupid full title. Its as dumb as the form I simply refer to as "Super Cyan"). As regular Goku Black, his voice is really deep and gravely. BUT when he's Goku Black Rose, his voice shifts and becomes more elegant and over the top. Like Sean's doing his best DIO impression.
I had no clue James Masters played not-illo in not-a-ball.....I feel slightly bad for him now
If anyone wants to hear what Goku Black and Zamasu sound like in the dub, here you go.
I love how in the English dub, Goku Black in his normal form sounds like Sean Schemmel is using a deeper and gravellier version of his Super Saiyan 4 Goku voice, but when he becomes Super Saiyan Rose, he suddenly becomes British. It's almost like the opposite (or as some would say, the reverse) of how Schemmel voices Goku, where he starts out with a high pitch tone that becomes deeper and more serious when he transforms into his various Super Saiyan forms.
James Marsters voicing Zamasu is a real WTF moment for me, since he was the last person I ever expected to voice him. Fun fact though, Marsters also did the voice for Lex Luthor in the Superman: Doomsday animated film. That's right, Marsters once voiced an extremist who deludes himself into thinking he is the savior of the world and goes off to commit supervillain schemes while also developing an insane obsession with a heroic alien who is one of the last survivors of his race, to the point that he ends up being responsible for an evil copy of said hero to exist.
Anyway, I liked Marsters voice, but I think his execution needs work. But I hear that the voice direction for the Xenoverse games are poor anyway and this is his first time, so he'll probably get much better by the time Super airs the Zamasu episodes.
James Marsters is actually a big fan of Dragon Ball Z. After he got the role of Piccolo for Evolution, he actually started watching the show to study his character and called it "the coolest cartoon".
He was also responsible for keeping Piccolo's green skin for the film. Apparently everyone working on the film had decided to get rid of Piccolo's green skin for the movie to make him look more attractive to get more people to watch it , but Marsters refused to go along with this and so when they started shooting, he had the make-up artist apply green make-up on his skin when the director left for a while and when he came back, he caved in and let Marsters keep the green make-up.
Ha, even in fan art Yamcha still can't catch a break.
Also, since we've been talking about Goku Black...
Hmm...someone needs to work out this idea... "Super-Baby-Vegito-Black-Super-Saiyan-Rose" hell, it wouldn't be the silliest thing to come out of Super. Dragon Ball Heroes development team, do it!
Hey, speaking of Super Dragon Ball Heroes...
If your ears were sharp enough, you may have caught this tune during Episode 58. That being said, the picture alone is worth posting this.
Well, it finally happened. I knew it was going to sooner or later, I just didn't think it would happen this way.
This summer, Universal Japan will have a special attraction called Dragon Ball 4D, which will feature Super Saiyan Blue Goku going up against Broly, who has become a Legendary Super Saiyan God.
