Yep. In Norse mythology Hel is the afterlife for people who aren't worthy of Valhalla, ruled over by Loki's daughter Hel. It's thought that the English word "Hell" comes from the Old English cognate, which tacks an extra "l" onto the end.

Black Panther looks sick. I've been excited for this since Civil War. Marvel continues to crush it left and right.

So to sum up all the MCU Comic-Con news:

Michelle Pfeiffer and Lawerence Fishburne will appear in Ant-Man and the Wasp as Janet Van Dyne (the original Wasp) and Bill Foster (Goliath) respectively.

The Captain Marvel movie will take place in the 90's and feature a two-eyed Nick Fury. The villains for the movie will be, of all characters, the Skrull Empire.

And Thor: Ragnarok's trailer looks pretty sweet.

Oooh, more Ant-Man goodness! Me likey :thumbsup

Heh heh, two-eyed Nick Fury XD . Hmm, I doubt there would be a lot of superheroes active at that time, unless you count Ant-Man who took part in one of the World Wars (Michael Douglas), thus leaving the Skrulls with little variety of powers to mimic and combine (unless they absorb the powers of their enemies, the Kree (which rely on technology, if I'm not mistaken...) :bored :cautious

As per tradition, I'll attempt to avoid watching any such trailers in the cinema (already failed on 2 accounts: Valerian and Spider-Man: Homecoming :p)

Skrulls? I thought Fox owned the movie rights to them.

Apparently Marvel and Fox both co-own the rights to the Skrulls and can use them in both their films, but Marvel can't use certain named Skrulls from the comics who have ties to Fox properties, which basically means no Super-Skrull. It's pretty much like how Marvel and Fox can both use Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, but Marvel can't mention that their Mutants or Magneto, or how they can both use the Watchers, but Marvel can't use Uatu specifically.

And honestly, while seeing the Skrulls arrive in an MCU film is something I never saw coming, I'm glad that they are showing up. In the long stand rivalry between the Kree and Skrull races, I've always found the Kree to be the least interesting of the two groups, so the Skrull's finally arriving makes me stoked.

Now I'm just curious to see if Captain Mar-Vell will make an appearance in this film or not.

This is all pretty confusing to someone who's never seen more than like 2 of the marvel movies, I'm guessing this is after the Avengers plot movie?

Thor: Ragnarok takes place sometime after the events of the second Avengers film and Dr. Strange, and it follows up on what happened to Thor and Hulk after their last appearance in Age of Ultron (with Dr. Strange making an appearance in this film).

Wonder Woman Captain Marvel is a prequel film set in the 90's showing her origin and presumably explaining why no one has ever mentioned or seen her until now.

Welp, according to people who have seen the pilot, the Inhumans show completely sucks and is even worse then Iron Fist. It's gotten bad enough that Marvel and ABC forced everyone to remove their reviews of it online to hide the bad publicity.

You know, as a life-long Marvel fanboy, I should probably be upset by this news...

...But on the other hand, as someone who has completely hated and resented Marvel's obvious attempts at screwing over the X-Men and replacing them with the Inhumans thanks to the movie rights, I can't help but laugh at this.
