On the character select screen, we support an “infinite” scrolling list left & right.

On the left side of the character select screen, we should support a similar “infinite” vertical scrolling list of texture names.

Our bundled textures are:

  • CharName_Base
  • CharName_Alt_1
  • CharName_Alt_2
  • CharName_Alt_3 (hidden initially)

If players put properly sized textures into the character folder, we append those names to the end of the list. So a player who created the custom skins “Clown_Face” and “All_Orange” would see the following list:

  • CharName_Base
  • CharName_Alt_1
  • CharName_Alt_2
  • Clown_Face
  • All_Orange

The currently selected texture should be a larger font, with the preceeding & following texture names slightly smaller. We show only 3 names at a time - a text analog to the way we display only three character portraits.

To facilitate custom textures, we should put a copy of CharName_Base textures in the root folder.
